A good feel and control over the sound are the essential characteristics of good mallets. They create an optimal connection between player and instrument.
Through my work as a timpanist (Berlin Symphony Orchestra; Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra) I have gained valuable experience for the development of the mallet program. Some models were created in close collaboration with other colleagues. Special thanks go to Stephan Cürlis, Tom Greenleaves and Prof. Oswald Vogler who gave me valuable suggestions.
Playing experience and technical perfection are essential for building good mallets.
The best quality can only be achieved through elaborate and individual production by hand - without compromises. Therefore, many items are only available with longer delivery times.
